Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions. These rules apply to all visitors, fire departments, and fleet managers. Please do not use our website or services if you disagree with any of these terms.

2. Services & Quotes

We provide specialized services, including fire apparatus maintenance, chassis remounts, and emergency lighting upgrades.

  • Quotes: Any price quote given through the website is an estimate. Only after your vehicle has undergone a formal inspection and a service agreement has been signed is the final pricing confirmed.
  • Service Availability: Although we provide services to departments all over Canada, specific on-site maintenance is reliant based on your location and the schedule of our technicians.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this site—including text, images of custom builds, technical fire truck maintenance checklists, and our “Engineered Simplicity” branding—is owned by Dependable Emergency Vehicles. You may not copy, change, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

4. User Responsibilities

When using our site to book services or download fire truck maintenance logs, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate info about your vehicle and department.
  • Not use the site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Not try to interfere with the website’s security or servers.

5. Limitation of Liability

Safety is our top priority, but the nature of emergency vehicle work involves high-stress mechanical systems.

  • Website Info: The technical tips and checklists on this site are for general guidance. They do not take the place of official NFPA standards or the particular handbook that came with your vehicle.
  • Equipment Use: Dependable Emergency Vehicles disclaims all liability for any mishaps or equipment malfunctions brought on by careless use, improper maintenance, or unapproved third-party repairs.

6. Parts & Warranties

  • Parts: We use high-quality components for all repairs and upgrades.
  • Warranty: Warranty terms for custom builds or remounts are provided in a separate, specific contract at the time of purchase. Website descriptions do not create new or additional warranties.

7. Cancellations & Appointments

We respect your time and shift rotations. If you need to cancel or change a service appointment (like a DOT inspection or pump test), please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid potential service fees.

8. Governing Law

Both the federal laws of Canada and the laws of the province where our main facility is situated govern these terms. Any legal disputes will be handled in those local courts.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as our business grows. We will post the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this page so you know when changes have been made.
